Information Technology Support Engineer

About the role

HAMDAZ Technologies is seeking a full‑time Information Technology Support Engineer to join its on‑site team in Abu Dhabi. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering prompt technical assistance and ensuring the stability of the company’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Diagnose, resolve and document incidents via the help‑desk ticketing system.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and peripheral devices.
• Perform routine system maintenance and monitor performance.
• Escalate complex problems to senior staff when necessary.
• Support system administration tasks and collaborate with other IT team members.

Required profile

• Strong technical support and help‑desk experience.
• Solid knowledge of IT and system administration concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with Windows, macOS, basic networking and ticketing systems.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and contribute to a diverse team.
