Infrastructure Architect

About the role

OKX, a crypto exchange and developer of OKX Wallet, is hiring an Infrastructure Architect. You will lead infrastructure architecture and core platform development for the AI Native era, covering CI/CD, AIOps, observability and monorepo engineering, and build platforms that support multiple programming languages across host-based and containerized environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define platform architecture, technical standards and roadmaps, and lead hands-on development of critical components
• Build AI-native engineering capabilities via APIs, CLIs and SDKs so developers and AI agents can review code, run tests and resolve issues
• Build toolchains for Go, Java, Python, C++ and Rust, with shared interfaces and consistent telemetry
• Design monorepo structures and build systems using practices such as Bazel and Buck2
• Build shared CI/CD platforms with automated quality gates, progressive delivery and rollback
• Unify metrics, logs, traces and profiling, and set SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and alerting
• Enable anomaly detection, incident investigation and automated remediation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 8 years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience, including 3 years in architecture or technical leadership
• Experience building infrastructure for multiple languages and designing shared platform interfaces
• Practical experience applying LLMs or agents to engineering workflows
• Nice to have: experience at Google, Meta or similar companies, and experience with large monorepos or AI-powered code review and test generation tools

Required skills

• Deep expertise in CI/CD, build systems, observability or AIOps
• Linux, networking, distributed systems, Kubernetes and deployment and configuration management
• Familiarity with Bazel or Buck2, gRPC and Protocol Buffers
• Automated testing, quality gates and release engineering
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, C++ or Rust
