Infrastructure Draftsman – Roads & Utilities

About the role

Azizi Developments, through its infrastructure arm Royal Infra Contracting LLC, is looking for an experienced Draftsman to produce accurate, authority‑compliant drawings for roads, utilities and site infrastructure across its UAE projects. The role supports engineering and site teams from design development through construction and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop, construction and as‑built drawings for roads, pavements, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, water and utility networks.
• Develop plan and profile drawings, cross‑sections, grading and setting‑out plans, and utility coordination/composite drawings to resolve clashes.
• Produce traffic diversion and temporary traffic management drawings for site works.
• Convert survey data and engineer mark‑ups into CAD drawings and update them per RFIs, site changes and consultant comments.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and file management in coordination with the Document Controller.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering/Civil Drafting or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years drafting experience, at least 3 years on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of UAE authority standards (RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality, etc.).
• Ability to read survey data, design drawings and engineering specifications.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Civil 3D preferred.
• Familiarity with MicroStation, GIS or BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with utility coordination and quantity take‑offs from drawings.
