Infrastructure Project Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager - Infrastructure to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will oversee and manage infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality and schedule, and will coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, aligned with client objectives and organizational standards.
• Develop project execution plans covering scope, schedules, resource allocation, risk management and budget estimates.
• Manage project budgets and monitor costs, and oversee contractor and consultant performance, including contract administration, variations and claims.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors and specialist advisors, and lead stakeholder engagement with clients, government authorities, utility providers and partners.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, implement contingency plans, and monitor progress against milestones, KPIs, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate design reviews, procurement, construction interfaces and project handover, and manage documentation, contracts, compliance and reporting.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards and presentations to clients and senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in infrastructure, transportation, utilities, aviation, rail, energy, water or urban development.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle, from planning and design through construction and handover.
• Proven experience managing consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and in contract and commercial management.
• Experience in stakeholder and client relationship management, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
