Infrastructure & Sewerage Inspector

About the role

KN International is looking for a qualified Inspector to oversee infrastructure and sewerage construction activities in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring that all works comply with approved plans, local regulations, and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of infrastructure and sewerage works, verifying alignment with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor contractor activities for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Perform quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and construction methods.
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) from contractors and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate daily records, inspection reports, and non‑conformance logs.
• Identify deficiencies, generate corrective action reports, and coordinate resolutions with engineers and project managers.
• Verify excavation, bedding, pipe installation, compaction, and backfilling for sewerage projects.
• Assist in reviewing contractor submittals, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Participate in progress meetings and communicate status, risks, and quality concerns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure and sewerage projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, material testing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with UAE construction codes, standards, and project regulations.
• Experience with inspection and documentation procedures, preferably with TAQA WS (SWS/ADSSC) approvals.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
