Inspection Officer – Arabic Speaker (Compliance)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inspection Officer to join the Compliance team. The role involves conducting regulatory inspections, reviewing company documentation and ensuring adherence to UAE Ministry of Economy and Free Zone regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regulatory inspections based on risk ratings, covering UBO, AML/CFT for DNFBPs and Visa inspections.
• Review shareholder information, business activities and related documents to verify compliance with UAE regulations.
• Schedule inspections, issue notices, reminders, warning letters and fines where required.
• Perform virtual and onsite inspections and compile detailed inspection reports.
• Upload all documentation to the ERP system and maintain accurate records.
• Develop remediation plans and advise clients on corrective actions.
• Screen companies, shareholders, directors and managers against regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Licensing, Banking and Visa teams to resolve compliance matters.
• Escalate significant issues to management and provide regular reporting.
• Stay updated on UAE regulatory changes and meet inspection timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Compliance or a related field.
• Previous experience in UAE compliance, regulatory inspections, AML/CFT or KYC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Ministry of Economy regulations, UBO and AML/CFT requirements.
• Excellent analytical attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Fluency in Arabic; Hindi or Urdu is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems.
