Inspector - Cut & Cover & Civils (Rail Project)

About the role

AECOM is recruiting a Survey Inspector for a cut-and-cover rail project in Dubai. The role verifies setting-out, alignment, levels, coordinates and as-built survey data on behalf of the Engineer so that construction works are accurate and comply with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Verify setting-out verification records, control point and benchmark reports, level and alignment checks, dimensional accuracy checks and as-built survey reviews.
• Produce daily site survey observation reports, progress measurement support records, interface and coordination notes and final as-built verification reports.
• Verify inspection request review records and survey activity logs.
• Produce handover and closeout survey documentation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction surveying, site inspection or engineering survey works, preferably on large buildings, civil infrastructure, transportation, tunnels and utility projects.
• Experience with consultants, PMCs or supervision teams is preferred.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record on large-scale rail construction projects.
