Institutional Research Manager

About the role

The Institutional Research (IR) Manager reports to the Chief Strategy & Excellence Officer and leads the collection, analysis, and reporting of institutional data to demonstrate program learning outcomes. The role supports continuous improvement of student success through data‑driven insights and market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide, analyse and interpret institutional data to support program outcome reporting.
• Develop training programmes, systems and processes with faculty to enhance student outcome quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies and deliver labour‑market intelligence for schools and departments.
• Collaborate with academic units to ensure compliance with accreditation and quality‑improvement frameworks.
• Prepare regular reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Student Assessment and Measurement or a related field from an accredited university.
• Teaching qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar institutional research or quality‑improvement role.
• Knowledge of accreditation processes, student assessment, and quality‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work collegially in an academic environment and proficiency in English (Arabic desirable).

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software.
• IT literacy for assessment and measurement tools.
