Instrumentation & Control Specialist Engineer

About the role

The role provides technical expertise in all instrumentation design, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and relevant codes. You will coordinate with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality engineering within project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor instrumentation design and engineering with EPC contractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and ADNOC standards.
• Perform technical reviews of engineering deliverables, conduct layout, model and design reviews, and participate in technical workshops.
• Support development of control philosophies, instrument specifications, cause‑and‑effect charts and functional design requirements.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams, vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues and mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrument, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make independent technical decisions.

Required skills

• Instrumentation design and control engineering.
• Experience with EPC coordination and design review processes.
• Knowledge of international codes and ADNOC standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software and general business applications.
