Insurance Specialist

About the role

The Insurance Specialist will work on‑site at Emirates NBD (ENBD) premises, partnering with the bank’s sales team to generate insurance business. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, managing the pipeline, and supporting the sales force with product knowledge and underwriting guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Meet daily with ENBD sales staff to identify and pursue insurance sales opportunities.
• Maintain a monthly business pipeline in coordination with Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors.
• Organise and deliver product and underwriting training sessions for the sales team.
• Ensure timely completion of applications and documentation to meet turnaround time targets.
• Provide monthly performance and fund performance reports to the sales team.
• Supply sales materials, policy statements and fund fact sheets as needed.
• Attend joint client meetings with Relationship Managers/Wealth Advisors.
• Support the development of new business from untapped bank client data.
• Assist in portfolio reviews for high‑net‑worth clients and drive a balanced mix of protection and savings products.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree (Bachelor).
• 2‑4 years of retail sales experience, preferably in insurance or banking.
• Strong knowledge of the Dubai market.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.
• Professional insurance certifications (e.g., LOMA, CII) are a plus.
