Interim Finance Controller – Immediate Joiner (Sharjah)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Controller to join a multi‑entity group in Sharjah on an urgent, short‑term basis. The role offers immediate start and full ownership of financial reporting, compliance and control across several subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing for multiple entities and prepare IFRS‑compliant consolidated financial statements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations and reconciliations.
• Produce executive and board‑level MIS reporting packs.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis cycles.
• Ensure UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance across the group.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preferably with Big 4 experience.
• Oversee treasury functions, liquidity monitoring and working‑capital management.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
• Work across ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365 and lead automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
• 8–15+ years of finance experience in structured, multi‑entity environments.
• Proven track record of group consolidation and IFRS reporting.
• Strong exposure to UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Direct audit ownership experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
