Interior Materials & FF&E Specification Specialist

About the role

NAGA is seeking an Interior Materials & FF&E Specification Specialist to support its Interior Design team on residential, hospitality and mixed‑use projects across the UAE. The role involves researching, selecting, specifying and coordinating interior materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, equipment and decorative elements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Research, select and specify a wide range of interior materials including stone, tiles, timber, metal finishes, fabrics, carpets and specialist finishes.
• Develop detailed FF&E specifications and schedules for furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories, window treatments and other interior elements.
• Prepare specification sheets, cut sheets, material boards and digital presentations, ensuring alignment with design concepts.
• Review material suitability for durability, fire rating, slip resistance, moisture resistance, sustainability and acoustic performance.
• Source products from local and international suppliers, obtain samples, technical data, certifications and pricing.
• Support value engineering, coordinate with architectural, joinery, lighting and other packages, and review supplier submittals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience specifying interior materials, finishes and FF&E on residential, hospitality or mixed‑use projects.
• Strong knowledge of material performance requirements and local/international suppliers.
• Excellent documentation, organizational and coordination skills.
