Internal Auditor – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our multinational financial services organization in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating controls, and supporting forensic investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance and risk‑based audits across business functions.
• Review accounting records, transactions and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses, financial risks, unusual transactions and potential misconduct.
• Support forensic audits and investigations, performing detailed transaction testing and data analysis.
• Prepare clear audit and investigation reports with findings, root‑cause analysis and recommendations.
• Follow up on remediation plans and work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance and other teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory or forensic audit, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong analytical ability, high integrity, professional skepticism and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
