Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Internal Auditor to join our growing team in Dubai. The role will focus on evaluating and strengthening internal controls, risk management and governance across IT product development, operations and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop risk‑based annual audit plans tailored to an IT product company.
• Lead or support financial, operational, compliance and IT audits, including IT General Controls, application controls, data security and cloud environments.
• Conduct walkthroughs, testing and data analysis to assess control design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications and provide practical recommendations.
• Assess technology‑related risks such as cybersecurity, data privacy, system integrity and business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulations (e.g., SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
• Monitor remediation of audit recommendations and act as a trusted advisor to business units.
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Legal and Finance teams to provide insights and improve processes.
• Contribute to the development of internal audit methodologies, tools and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in internal audit.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm (PwC, Deloitte, EY, KPMG) or McKinsey & Company is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai full‑time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT General Controls and application controls.
• Understanding of data security, cloud environments and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR and ISO 27001.
