Internal Controls Manager – Finance Systems

About the role

The Internal Controls Manager leads the development, implementation and support of finance‑focused IT applications across ADNOC and its group companies. This role ensures that technology solutions align with the Group’s strategic direction and deliver cost‑effective, reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain ADNOC’s financial systems strategy and oversee its execution across the Group.
• Conduct feasibility studies, recommend suitable financial applications and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation of financial systems, including development, customization, testing, pre‑conversion, user training and commissioning.
• Prepare system design documents, coordinate requirements and ensure smooth rollout.
• Monitor system performance, schedule jobs, and guarantee timely production of reports and interfaces.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, user manuals and act as Security Administrator for all financial applications.
• Control system access, preserve data integrity and resolve user issues promptly.
• Coordinate financial system integration within the ADNOC Management Information System and oversee group consolidation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience managing finance‑related IT applications in a large, multi‑entity organization.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
