Internal Medicine Physician (Internist)

About the role

The Specialist/Consultant Internal Medicine Physician (Internist) will join New Royal Medical and Dental Center to deliver evidence‑based preventive care, accurate diagnoses, and comprehensive treatment plans for adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses. This full‑time, on‑site position operates within a high‑volume, state‑of‑the‑art medical centre.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments for adult patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute conditions and long‑term chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, metabolic syndromes, and respiratory illnesses.
• Provide preventive health services including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
• Coordinate care with subspecialists and refer patients as needed.
• Communicate diagnoses, test results, and treatment plans clearly to patients and families.
• Participate in the centre’s rotational on‑call schedule for emergency consults.
• Maintain confidential Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Engage in clinical audits, peer reviews, and continuous medical education initiatives.
• Support staff wellbeing initiatives and contribute to internal health campaigns.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completed residency or higher professional specialization in Internal Medicine.
• Active UAE medical license or valid Eligibility Letter.
• 5‑7 years of post‑specialization experience in a hospital or private medical centre.
• Fluency in English; Hindi and Arabic are highly preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and Emiratization requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
