International Logistics & Warehouse Specialist

About the role

The International Logistics & Warehouse Specialist will support the delivery of large‑scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across multiple regions. The role focuses on managing logistics providers, planning transportation, overseeing overseas warehousing, and controlling costs while mitigating delivery risks.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate and manage international logistics providers for freight forwarding, ocean shipping, break‑bulk/project cargo, customs clearance, warehousing and final‑mile delivery.
• Design project‑specific logistics solutions that balance schedule, cost and operational risk.
• Support supplier bidding, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
• Identify logistics risks such as vessel delays, port congestion, customs issues and develop contingency plans.
• Provide logistics cost estimates during project bidding and continuously optimise costs during execution.
• Manage overseas warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, handling aging stock and abnormal shipments.
• Maintain logistics and inventory KPIs and prepare regular operational reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics, overseas warehousing or logistics procurement.
• Experience with renewable‑energy projects (BESS, solar, wind) is preferred.
• Familiarity with project cargo, oversized equipment, dangerous goods and multimodal transport.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel or be based in the region.
