Inventory Manager

About the role

The Boring Company is seeking an Inventory Manager to own end‑to‑end inventory for its Dubai tunnelling project. You will set up the warehouse function from day one and scale it as the project grows.

Key responsibilities

• Stand up and run the inventory function, including warehouse layout, storage, slotting and labeling.
• Oversee receiving, storage and issuance of TBM spares, precast plant materials, consumables and site equipment.
• Establish and audit critical spare kits for the TBM to protect uptime.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate inbound international shipments, customs clearance and import documentation.
• Hire, train and lead inventory and warehouse staff as the function expands.

Required profile

• 3+ years of inventory control, warehouse or materials management experience in construction, heavy industry, manufacturing or oil & gas.
• Hands‑on knowledge of inventory systems (SAP, MOS/MES or equivalent) and strong proficiency with scanners, data tools and spreadsheets.
• Experience with cycle counting, root‑cause analysis of discrepancies and inventory accuracy programs.
• Currently based in the UAE or GCC region, or eligible to work in the UAE.
• Comfortable with a hands‑on, field‑adjacent role and occasional extended hours or weekend work.
