Inventory Officer

About the role

The Inventory Officer will oversee inventory operations for M42’s Abu Dhabi BioBank and Biogenix Labs, ensuring that laboratory supplies, chemicals and hazardous materials are available, accurately recorded and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock levels, maintain safety stock, prevent wastage and ensure compliance with ISO, DOH and company policies.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality and Facilities to support sourcing, order fulfilment and proper handling of chemicals.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, perform regular reconciliations and generate monthly/quarterly reports.
• Process end‑user requests, handle purchase requisitions and follow up on orders to keep laboratory operations uninterrupted.
• Support import and export activities in line with company policies and regulatory requirements, providing backup to the Logistics function as needed.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, logistics, supply chain, procurement or customer service; experience in healthcare or biomedical settings is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/inventory management systems.
