iOS Developer | Full Stack Developer

About the role

A mid-level iOS Developer | Full Stack Developer is sought to design, develop, test and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications. The role combines strong iOS expertise with full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop iOS apps for iPhone and iPad, and responsive web applications
• Build mobile features with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and modern iOS practices
• Develop frontend interfaces with React, Angular, Vue.js or similar
• Build scalable backend services, APIs and business logic, and integrate them with third-party APIs, payment systems and external platforms
• Work with databases to design schemas, optimise queries and manage data
• Implement secure authentication, authorisation, session management and data protection
• Write unit, integration and UI tests, debug crashes and performance issues, and optimise performance and memory usage
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers and other developers, and take part in architecture decisions
• Manage code with Git, run code reviews, set up CI/CD pipelines and maintain technical documentation
• Support App Store releases and ensure compliance with security, privacy, accessibility and coding standards

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
• Previous professional experience in iOS, full-stack or software engineering
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code and object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of Agile or Scrum; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Required skills

• Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode and iOS SDKs
• RESTful APIs and backend services
• At least one backend technology such as Node.js, Java, Python.NET or PHP
• Frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular or Vue.js
• Relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB
• Git and modern development workflows
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools such as Docker, CI/CD and automated testing are an advantage
