iOS Developer (Remote, Dubai)

About the role

Techelix is looking for an iOS Developer for a remote position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role builds and delivers seamless mobile products in a collaborative team, covering the full lifecycle of iOS apps: design, development, testing, documentation and deployment. You will work closely with product and design teams to turn requirements into practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain iOS mobile apps.
• Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases and turn them into effective technical solutions.
• Discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
• Write documentation and unit tests to optimise app performance.
• Stay up to date with software design guidelines, mobile trends and emerging technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and share ideas to improve the app experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience, preferably in iOS application development.
• Experience in native app development with Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience implementing REST APIs and knowledge of several architectural patterns.
• Good understanding of software design, OOP and protocol-oriented programming, and ability to write clean, modular, testable code.
• Experience in agile teams and strong collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Swift and Objective-C; SwiftUI and structured concurrency.
• Combine framework (RXSwift is a plus).
• CI/CD pipelines such as Bitrise.
• Git workflow and unit testing.
