IP & Trademark Counsel (On-Site, Dubai)

About the role

An experienced IP & Trademark Counsel is sought to oversee global trademark portfolios, intellectual property protection, prosecution and enforcement for a client based in Dubai. The company operates in the iGaming sector, but this position focuses on legal advisory and IP matters rather than operations.

Required profile

• LL.B./JD degree with an active licence to practise law in at least one jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on IP experience, particularly in global trademark prosecution and portfolio management.
• Proven experience in trademark oppositions, cancellations, UDRP/URS proceedings and multi-jurisdictional IP disputes.
• Experience in online brand protection, domain disputes and platform takedowns.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, especially in licensing and technology transactions.
• Familiarity with IP management and brand monitoring platforms such as Corsearch, MarkMonitor and Red Points.
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Madrid Protocol, EUIPO and WIPO procedures.
• Trademark oppositions, cancellations, UDRP/URS and multi-jurisdictional IP disputes.
