Islamic Studies Teacher (AY 26-27)

About the role

Al Qurm Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic Islamic Studies Teacher for the academic year 2026‑2027. You will join a collaborative, student‑centred environment that follows the US curriculum and serves over 600 students from KG1 to Grade 5.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Create a positive learning environment with appropriate classroom resources and displays.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when required.
• Uphold the school’s behaviour policy and act as a positive role model for pupils.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Islamic Studies content and the US curriculum framework.
• Ability to teach a diverse group of learners from KG1 to Grade 5.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to the school’s core values of Respect, Collaboration, Passion, Integrity and Excellence.

Required skills
