IT Assistant – Hospitality Support

About the role

Join the IT team of a leading luxury hotel group and provide technical support to staff and guests. As an IT Assistant you will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software and network services across the property, delivering the high‑standard experience expected by a five‑star brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Set up and configure computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Respond to support tickets promptly and document resolutions.
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s computer networks to minimise downtime.
• Assist with the installation and upkeep of hotel‑specific applications such as Opera and Simphony.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Motivated self‑starter with a “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Computer hardware troubleshooting
• Computer software troubleshooting
• Network troubleshooting and maintenance
• Familiarity with Opera property management system
• Familiarity with Simphony point‑of‑sale system
