IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the stability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure. This hands‑on role covers network, server, cloud and end‑user support, providing rapid resolution to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain MacBook devices for staff.
• Install, configure and manage networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues across LAN, WAN and cloud networks.
• Monitor network health, perform routine performance checks and ensure availability meets company standards.
• Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing and VPN connections.
• Support internal and external network systems, including LAN, WAN and cloud‑based networks.
• Configure, troubleshoot and manage database storage servers and cloud servers.
• Assist with firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN security.
• Document network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in network performance optimization, capacity planning and traffic analysis.
• Provide on‑site and remote support for end‑users on network‑related issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Strong documentation, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative IT team.
