IT Head - SAP S/4HANA

About the role

Careers International is hiring an IT Head in Dubai to manage the SAP S/4HANA system for the entire organization. The role covers ERP systems, business applications and end-user support, IT infrastructure, security, budget and vendor management, and leading the IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the SAP S/4HANA system and ensure smooth functioning of ERP systems, business applications and end-user support.
• Oversee IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, cloud services) for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts and procurement of hardware and software; negotiate with external IT vendors, service providers and consultants.
• Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures and controls, and ensure compliance with data protection laws and industry standards.
• Lead disaster recovery, business continuity and risk management.
• Lead, mentor and develop the IT team, define roles, responsibilities and performance metrics, and promote continuous learning.
• Lead IT projects such as ERP/CRM implementations, cloud migration and automation, and collaborate with business units to digitize processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, IoT and cloud solutions, and handle ad hoc tasks assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• 10-12 years of experience in core SAP implementation activities, post-go-live support and managing the SAP system after implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or another field; SAP certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA implementation knowledge across modules such as MM, FICO, SD, PM, HR and BI.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security and data protection.
