IT Officer

About the role

The IT Officer will deliver day‑to‑day technical support for all hotel departments, ensuring that IT systems, applications and end‑user devices operate smoothly. Working closely with the IT team, the role contributes to operational efficiency and enhances the guest experience through reliable technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to colleagues across all hotel areas.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, email services, password resets and account access.
• Support core hotel platforms such as OPERA Cloud PMS, Simphony POS, telephony, CCTV, IPTV, guest Wi‑Fi and related IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing and connectivity issues, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain and update help‑desk tickets, ensuring proper documentation of incidents and service requests.
• Carry out software installations, system updates, antivirus management and routine maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of IT assets, equipment assignments and inventory.
• Assist with device deployments, replacements and office relocations, as well as meeting‑room and conference technology.
• Follow IT policies, cybersecurity standards and operational procedures.
