IT Project Manager

About the role

Responsible for managing and delivering business and IT projects aligned with the Group’s strategic plan. The role involves coordinating with third‑party contractors and consultants to ensure enterprise‑wide project delivery, including planning, issue resolution and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Define, communicate and execute the vision and strategies for effective project management across the organization.
• Facilitate governance for the project portfolio and individual projects, ensuring compliance with the company’s project framework and SDLC policies.
• Schedule and balance activities to meet deadlines for deliverables and meetings, and manage project budgets.
• Provide leadership and portfolio‑level reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and conduct Project Steering Committee meetings with C‑Level executives.
• Oversee multiple enterprise‑level, high‑traffic projects, interfacing with various business units in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years of experience in IT program, portfolio and project management, preferably within financial services such as investment banking, brokerage, asset management or capital markets.
• Proven experience launching asset‑management funds and implementing asset‑management core systems.
• Demonstrated competencies in integrity, teamwork, initiative, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project‑management methodologies.
• Familiarity with software programming concepts and trading‑systems design and operations.
• Ability to decompose projects into work packages and determine resource requirements.
