IT Project Manager – Site Opening & High‑Priority Projects

About the role

The IT Project Manager will act as the single point of accountability for all IT activities related to new site openings and high‑priority IT projects. You will coordinate across multiple IT functions, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and on‑time completion.

Key responsibilities

• Represent IT in end‑to‑end site‑opening programmes, coordinating readiness with entertainment, construction, applications, operations, telecom, infrastructure, service delivery, asset management and vendor teams.
• Consolidate inputs from all workstreams, prepare unified IT status updates for program teams and steering committees, and manage the Bill of Quantities for each site.
• Track site milestones, flag deviations early, obtain formal sign‑offs, and conduct on‑site inspections to validate readiness.
• Lead crucial and high‑priority IT projects: develop detailed plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, circulate weekly status reports, and maintain risk/issue logs.
• Drive proactive risk identification, escalation and mitigation, ensuring documentation and trackers are current and accessible.
• Balance time between head‑office planning and frequent site visits to oversee execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT projects, preferably in site‑opening or similar environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse IT and business teams.
• Hands‑on leadership style, comfortable both on the project floor and presenting to senior leadership.
• Excellent risk‑management and issue‑resolution capabilities.
