IT Service Desk Engineer – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Halian is seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team for an initial one‑year contract, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on delivering Level‑2 support for a range of Microsoft and networking technologies, ensuring smooth service delivery for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2 service desk support, handling incidents and requests across the organization.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (O365/M365) services.
• Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) accounts and permissions.
• Configure, maintain, and support Microsoft SCCM and Intune environments.
• Utilise ServiceNow for ticketing, incident management, and change requests.
• Apply ITSM processes to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Perform basic network configuration, LAN/WAN connectivity support, and internet troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with ISPs to resolve connectivity issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Service Desk Engineer.
• Strong background in Level‑2 support and incident resolution.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
