IT Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot a wide range of IT issues, and ensure a reliable technology environment for our users and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests, diagnose hardware, software, network and system problems, and resolve them promptly.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and business applications such as Microsoft 365.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, Active Directory, and IT assets, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Support network connectivity, including Wi‑Fi, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and printer services.
• Maintain incident and service request records, escalate complex issues, and assist with system upgrades, security updates and backup procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good communication skills.
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple requests and work collaboratively with internal teams and external providers.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Active Directory, user account management and access control.
• Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi, LAN.
• Microsoft 365, endpoint protection and IT asset management.
• Helpdesk or ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
