IT Systems Engineer (Enterprise Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to provide onsite consultancy and technical expertise for an enterprise IT environment. The consultant will review, assess, troubleshoot and recommend improvements to enhance performance, availability, security and reliability of the organization’s infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Review IT systems and infrastructure performance, delivering technical recommendations to ensure high availability and optimal security.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for incidents, develop Disaster Recovery Plans and participate in DR drill execution.
• Develop capacity forecasts, risk management and Business Continuity Plans aligned with ISO standards and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures, IT security policies and a documented roadmap for systems and infrastructure products.
• Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure incidents and take part in Major Incident Management within an ITIL framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise IT management, troubleshooting and L2/L3 infrastructure support.
• Proven ability to conduct root‑cause analysis, develop DR plans and work within an ITIL/major‑incident environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
