Java Developer - Microservices & Full Stack

About the role

ECS is looking for an experienced Java Developer in Dubai who designs, develops and maintains high-performance applications. The role covers Java-based projects in microservices and enterprise architectures, with full-stack development and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet client needs. Knowledge of the airline, telecom or big data domains is highly valued.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of Java development experience; enterprise or large-scale application experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Airline, telecom or big data domain experience and familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools such as Jasper Reports are additional assets.

Required skills

• Java/J2EE (Java 8+), Spring Framework, Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• RESTful web services (exposing and consuming), SOAP, and integration frameworks such as Apache Camel and JBoss FUSE.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
• Git, CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, GitLab) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Agile development (Scrum/Kanban) and root cause analysis and performance tuning.

Good to have: messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), frontend frameworks (React, Angular), secure coding practices (OWASP), JIRA and Confluence.
