Joinery Production Supervisor

About the role

K4 Group is looking for experienced Joinery Production Supervisors to oversee daily factory operations and ensure high standards of quality, productivity and workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily joinery production, including cutting, edge banding, CNC operations, assembly, spraying and finishing.
• Allocate daily tasks to carpenters and machine operators according to production plans.
• Read and interpret approved shop drawings and prepare and review cutting lists.
• Monitor production progress, workmanship, quality and productivity, and report delays to the Production In-Charge.
• Coordinate with the QC team to identify and resolve defects before dispatch.
• Ensure efficient material usage and minimise wastage.
• Enforce workshop safety standards, housekeeping and routine machine maintenance.

Required profile

• 6-8 years of experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing, with a minimum of 3 years in a Foreman or Production Supervisor role.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Ability to manage daily production activities, maintain quality standards, minimise material wastage and meet production deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of joinery production processes: cutting, edge banding, CNC operations, assembly, spraying and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Hands-on knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer and solid wood, and various finishes.
• Understanding of workshop safety, housekeeping and machine maintenance.
