Junior Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Terracotta is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant who is fluent in Arabic and English to support its finance team in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with month‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily accounting records and post transactions to the general ledger promptly.
• Prepare customer invoices, verify billing accuracy, and retain supporting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile cash, vendor, clearing, and inter‑company accounts.
• Handle petty‑cash transactions and PRO‑related payments with proper controls.
• Support month‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments, and provisions.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong background in invoicing, bank reconciliations, and general‑ledger postings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or FOCUS is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
