Junior Accountant – Finance Team (Dubai)

About the role

The Laundry Hub LLC is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role supports daily accounting operations, maintains accurate financial records, and assists senior finance staff with routine accounting and administrative activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, journal entries and supporting documents.
• Maintain an accurate general ledger and financial records.
• Perform bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Verify invoices, expenses, receipts and payment documents for accuracy.
• Track outstanding customer payments and support collection follow‑ups.
• Maintain organized digital and physical accounting files.
• Assist with monthly financial reports, account schedules and summaries.
• Support VAT/CT‑related documentation and financial record maintenance.
• Coordinate with operations and administration teams regarding financial information.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and report them to senior finance staff; assist with audit preparation by providing required documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant is preferred.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT/CT and basic tax documentation is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
