About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support our client’s finance team in the UAE. You will handle day‑to‑day accounting tasks, assist with month‑end closing, and help ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

Process supplier invoices, verify payments and prepare customer statements.
Maintain the general ledger and perform routine bank reconciliations.
Record daily financial transactions in the ERP system and file supporting documents.
Support senior accountants during month‑end closing, including accruals and variance analysis.
Assist in compiling documentation for UAE VAT returns and statutory audits.

Required profile

Minimum 2 + years of general accounting experience in the GCC/UAE.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and good English communication skills.
