Junior Architect

About the role

Oneworks is looking for a Junior Architect to join its Dubai office and support a high‑profile airport development project in Sharjah, UAE. You will work closely with the Senior Architect and the supervision team to ensure the design intent and client requirements are met on site.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Architect within the Supervision Team.
• Oversee architectural aspects of the airport terminal expansion, ensuring compliance with specifications and client expectations.
• Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and resolve design‑related issues.
• Conduct site inspections of contractor works and verify conformity with approved drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consulting teams to address technical and interface challenges.
• Monitor contractor performance, contractual obligations, and client requirements.
• Support project documentation, coordination meetings, and progress reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on airport projects.
• Experience as a Project Supervision Architect on large‑scale or complex infrastructure projects.
• Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and adaptability.
• Experience in GCC projects is preferred.
• Availability to mobilise at short notice.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (minimum proficiency).
