Junior Business Controller

About the role

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a motivated Junior Business Controller to join its finance team in Dubai. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, commercial controlling and business partnering across the organization, helping to drive performance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet statements and support reporting in core DHL systems (Oracle, Vision, CREST, FPM, DPM).
• Assist with monthly balance‑sheet reviews, provisions, accruals, payroll, debt and bad‑debt management.
• Support short‑, mid‑ and long‑term financial planning, budgeting, rolling forecasts and cash‑flow analysis.
• Evaluate new business cases, renewals and investment proposals, preparing financial models and sensitivity analyses.
• Act as finance business partner to operational leaders, delivering dashboards, margin analysis and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Contribute to system improvements, debtor management, cash‑flow optimisation and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of controlling or financial experience.
• Good understanding of business and service requirements in a logistics environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle, Vision, CREST, FPM and DPM financial systems.
• Knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in financial modelling, sensitivity analysis and business case preparation.
