Junior Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer (Junior) will support Al Manar Technical Contracting in expanding its client base across a wide range of technical services. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role focuses on identifying new opportunities, preparing tender documents and proposals, and building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and analyse client requirements to generate qualified leads.
• Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, proposals and basic financial summaries.
• Develop and deliver presentations to support business pitches.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and follow‑up actions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with senior business development and operations teams and attend client meetings as needed.
• Provide post‑meeting support to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development skills, including lead generation and opportunity identification.
• Solid analytical ability and basic finance understanding for pricing and simple financial reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication for internal coordination and client interaction.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Prior internship or 1–2 years experience in business development, sales or a related role within contracting, construction or technical services (a plus).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
