Junior Camp Accountant – Revenue & Cost Control

About the role

CityLaila is seeking a Junior Camp Accountant to support the financial operations of the Royal Vision Desert Safari Camp in Dubai. This on‑site role focuses on revenue and cost control, ensuring accurate daily reconciliation of bookings, collections, and expenses.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bookings from various sources (B2B agents, OTAs, direct customers, walk‑ins, freelancers).
• Match collections (cash POS, card, online, bank transfers) with booking records and guest attendance.
• Prepare daily revenue and collection reports by source, agent, payment method, and service type.
• Control cashier handovers, investigate cash and POS discrepancies, and maintain accurate cash‑count records.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable, produce ageing reports, and follow up on collections.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase approvals, delivery notes, and actual services.
• Monitor food, beverage and consumable stock movements and assist in calculating per‑guest costs.
• Reconcile driver trip sheets, fuel expenses, and other safari‑related operating costs.
• Manage petty cash with proper vouchers and approvals.
• Record all approved transactions accurately in Tally Prime.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
• Comfortable working closely with operations staff, drivers, cashiers, and the central finance team.
• At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
