Junior Fashion Designer (E‑Commerce)

About the role

Vita Grace is seeking a Junior Fashion Designer to support its e‑commerce collections. The role combines creative design with commercial insight, guiding concepts from sketch to finished garment while maintaining the brand’s premium women’s fashion identity.

Key responsibilities

• Create seasonal and frequent designs using CAD, AI tools, or hand sketches aligned with market trends.
• Develop commercially successful collections that reflect the Vita Grace brand.
• Conduct market, trend, and competitor research to spot emerging opportunities.
• Produce mood boards, colour palettes, and seasonal concepts.
• Source fabrics, trims, prints, and finishes in collaboration with the development team.
• Provide creative direction for colourways, patterns, and fabric selections.
• Work closely with manufacturers during sampling and development, resolving technical or production challenges.
• Present collections, offering styling and fit recommendations.
• Assist with seasonal buying, product range planning, and occasional travel for market research.

Required profile

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in women’s fashion design.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, and fit.
• Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, and production processes.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to translate trends into best‑selling products.
• Highly organized with solid project‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with CAD design tools.
