Junior Flutter Engineer (Remote)

About the role

As a Junior Flutter Engineer at MLS - Muscat Livestock, you will develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter and Dart. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to turn business requirements into robust, scalable features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality mobile apps with Flutter for Android and iOS.
• Translate business requirements into clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, Firebase, JSON, authentication/authorization flows and third‑party SDKs.
• Apply state‑management patterns such as Bloc, Provider or Riverpod.
• Optimize app performance, security and overall user experience.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, app release processes and store deployments.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps and engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of mobile application development experience.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Experience building and releasing Android and iOS applications.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce, supply chain or food/agribusiness technology is a plus.
