Junior Legal Counsel - Emiratization

About the role

NES Fircroft is seeking a qualified Junior Legal Counsel to support its Employment Legal team across the Middle East. This position offers a fast‑track opportunity to work on a wide range of employment law matters while collaborating closely with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and advise on local employment contracts and related documentation to ensure compliance with regional labour legislation.
• Provide commercially‑focused employment law advice on terminations, grievances, disciplinary cases, performance issues and workplace investigations.
• Prepare case summaries, recommendations and legal assessments aligned with applicable laws and business needs.
• Draft employment agreements, official correspondence, reports, court submissions and other legal documents.
• Support employment litigation, attend mediations and court hearings as required.
• Liaise with external counsel, government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor developments in Middle East employment legislation and advise the Employment Team Lead.
• Assist regional legal teams with day‑to‑day employment matters and contribute to legal projects.

Required profile

• Qualified legal professional with at least two years of experience in employment or labour law.
• Strong knowledge of Middle East employment legislation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholder requests.
