Junior Maintenance Technician - Fabrication

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician – Fabrication you will support senior technicians in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of equipment, vehicles and plant within dnata’s technical services workshops. You will help ensure that all assets are kept in safe, operational condition while adhering to company and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily tasks in the assigned work area.
• Maintain clean and organized workshop conditions and take proper care of tools.
• Assist in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment, vehicles and plant to minimise downtime.
• Record all work activities in the log book and Maintenance Management System.
• Follow standard safety procedures to prevent personal injury and equipment damage.
• Notify senior technicians of required spare parts and tools.
• Support scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturers’ recommendations, ISO, legal and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct daily inspections of equipment and plant for reliability and safety.
• Execute ULD repair and assembly tasks according to MOE, manufacturer, EASA and GCAA regulations.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate able to follow instructions and support senior technicians.
• Strong attention to housekeeping and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical maintenance skills.

Required skills

• Fault finding and equipment repair.
• ULD repair and assembly.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations.
• Knowledge of GCAA regulations.
• Use of a Maintenance Management System.
