Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist

About the role

Gear‑up.me is expanding its sales team and seeks a passionate Junior PC Builder and RMA Specialist to assemble custom PCs, prepare quotes, manage RMA processes and support customers post‑sale.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble custom PCs and workstations, ensuring proper cable management, airflow and system stability.
• Perform hardware and software testing to verify optimal performance.
• Prepare customized quotations and recommend components based on client needs and budget.
• Maintain the online catalogue of PC builds, updating configurations and availability.
• Manage the full RMA lifecycle, coordinating with suppliers and keeping accurate logs.
• Provide post‑sales technical assistance via phone, email or in‑person, troubleshooting issues and guiding customers.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the UAE market, preferably in a technical or customer‑facing role.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills; additional language a plus.
• Outgoing, proactive and detail‑oriented with a passion for IT.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PC hardware components (motherboards, CPUs, RAM, GPUs, SSDs, power supplies).
• Experience assembling, configuring and troubleshooting desktop PCs.
• Familiarity with hardware/software testing and warranty/RMA procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM systems or ticketing platforms is an advantage.
