Junior Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The Junior Quality Control Engineer supports the implementation of the company's quality strategy across manufacturing operations. You will help ensure compliance with international standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements while promoting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials such as aluminum coils, paints, coatings, adhesives, films, and packaging.
• Monitor coating, painting, curing, lamination, bonding, cutting, finishing, and packaging processes for specification compliance.
• Conduct routine in‑process and final product inspections, including dimensional checks, visual inspections, coating thickness, adhesion, gloss, and colour verification.
• Record inspection results, raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis of production defects and customer complaints.
• Coordinate laboratory testing for coating performance, corrosion resistance, weathering, and fire performance.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment.
• Support ISO 9001 audit readiness, internal audits, and external customer audits.
• Prepare regular quality reports and assist in product release verification.

Required profile

• Entry‑level engineering graduate or equivalent technical background.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with production, engineering, procurement, and R&D teams.
