Junior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit‑Out

About the role

The Junior Quantity Surveyor will join the interior fit‑out team of Al Shirawi Interiors, supporting the senior QS in managing project quantities and financial documentation. This position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced construction environment, focusing on interior fit‑out projects across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain logs for variations, instructions, RFIs, PA, PC and other project documents.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare scope‑wise packages for interior fit‑out works.
• Assist the senior QS with subcontractor billing, on‑site cross‑checking, evaluation and certification.
• Prepare interim payment applications and support their submission.
• Compare IFT and IFC drawings, generate comparison reports and highlight discrepancies.
• Provide general support to the project QS on all project‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in an interior fit‑out environment.
• Strong understanding of quantity take‑off processes and scope‑wise package preparation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior team members and subcontractors.
