- Build and maintain reusable function blocks and custom libraries
- Test and debug software using simulation and software-in-the-loop tools before deployment

- Design and configure HMI / terminal screens and controller web pages
- Support factory testing, on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of HVAC/R units across the UAE
- Use version control, follow team workflows including code reviews and structured release management
- Prepare technical documentation: I/O lists, parameter tables, functional descriptions and user notes
- Apply secure configuration practices to protect controllers against unauthorised access
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic, Control & Automation, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a strong programming component
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Methodical, detail-oriented approach to testing and debugging, eager to learn
Required skills
- Structured Text / PLC programming: practical experience with IEC 61131-3 (e.g. CODESYS, TwinCAT, Siemens SCL), or strong C, C++/Pascal-style programming with willingness to switch quickly
- Programming fundamentals: state machines, timers, data structures and modular, reusable code design
- Control basics: PID control, hysteresis, setpoints, alarm handling and interlocks
What we offer
- Full-time, permanent position based in Dubai
- UAE employment visa sponsored by the company
- Competitive tax-free salary
- Structured training on the CAREL STone platform and mentoring by experienced controls engineers
- Hands-on exposure to a wide range of commercial HVAC/R projects, from design to commissioning
Shortlisted candidates are invited to a technical interview, including a short practical exercise in Structured Text.
