Junior Supervisor - Bar

About the role

As a Junior Supervisor at Rose Bar, Delano Dubai, you will support daily bar operations and help deliver a refined yet relaxed guest experience that reflects the distinctive spirit of Delano.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering warm, intuitive and personalised service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects DELANO’s lifestyle luxury standards.
• Support the smooth running of daily operations, monitoring service flow, table readiness and guest experience throughout the shift.
• Provide hands‑on guidance to the team during service, helping colleagues maintain standards and responding quickly when additional support is needed.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of beverages and food, enabling the team to confidently recommend and explain offerings.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, mise‑en‑place, station allocation and overall venue readiness.
• Coordinate closely with the bar, kitchen and wider F&B teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient service flow.
• Respond to guest feedback or concerns, resolving straightforward matters promptly and escalating when appropriate.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, grooming and health‑safety standards across the operation.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, high‑end bar or upscale restaurant, preferably with exposure to a senior waiter, captain or junior supervisory role.
• Emerging leadership skills with the ability to guide colleagues on the floor and set a positive example.
• Guest‑focused mindset, balancing polished service with Delano’s relaxed personality.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, service sequence and luxury hospitality standards.
• Organised, attentive and able to maintain service standards in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively across bar, kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.
• Calm under pressure with sound problem‑solving abilities, knowing when to act independently or involve senior leadership.
• Relevant hospitality qualification is preferred, though practical experience, attitude and potential are equally valued.
